PRODUCT: Seed Treatment

YEAR:  2023

COUNTRY: Kazakhstan

APPLICATION:

  1. Control. NPK background.
  2. Background NPK + Seed Treatment. Pre-sowing seed treatment, product consumption – 2.0 kg/t of seeds, working solution consumption – 10 l/ton. Non-root fertilization of plants: 1st - at the budding stage, 2nd – at the tube emergence stage, product consumption – 1.5 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.
  3. Background NPK + Seed Treatment. Pre-sowing seed treatment, product consumption – 2.0 kg/t of seeds, working solution consumption – 10 l/ton. Non-root fertilization of plants: 1st - at the budding stage, 2nd – at the tube emergence stage, product consumption – 2.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.
  4. Background NPK + Seed Treatment. Pre-sowing seed treatment, product consumption – 2.0 kg/t of seeds, working solution consumption – 10 l/ton. Non-root fertilization of plants: 1st - at the budding stage, 2nd – at the tube emergence stage, product consumption – 3.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.

Trial plots area – 100 m², observed plots area – 50 m². Trial repetitiveness — four times.

RESULT:

  1. Yield increase compared to control with NPK background: 6.13-20.32%.
  2. The yield increase resulted from improvements in yield structure: the number of productive stems increased by 14.4-22.1%, ear length increased by 1.6-6.5%, the number of grains per ear increased by 6.2-15.9%, and the mass of 1000 grains increased by 2.5-9.0%.
  3. Quality indicators of the grain also increased: protein content in the grain increased by 0.31-1.5% (absolute values), and gluten content increased by 0.6-2.9% (absolute values).
  4. The maximum result was achieved with a double application at a 3.0 kg/ha dose.
  5. The maximum yield increase exceeded the experimental error and was statistically significant.
