APPLICATION:

  2. NPK Background + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the tillering phase, 2nd - in the boll phase, product consumption – 1.5 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha. (Variant 2)
  3. NPK Background + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the tillering phase, 2nd - in the boll phase, product consumption – 2.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha. (Variant 3)
  4. NPK Background + Mg12. Foliar application: 1st - in the tillering phase, 2nd - in the boll phase, product consumption – 3.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha. (Variant 4)

Trial plots area – 100 m², observed plots area – 50 m². Trial repetitiveness — four times.

RESULT:  

  1. Yield increase compared to control with NPK background ranged from 0.97% to 4.05%.
  2. The yield increase resulted from an increase in the productive stems number, length of the ear, number of grains per ear, and the 1000 seeds weight.
  3. Grain quality indicators also increased: the protein content in the grain increased by 0.3-1.2% (in absolute values), and the weight of 1000 seeds increased by 1.3-2.8%.
  4. The maximum result was achieved with a double application at a 3.0 kg/ha dose.
  5. The maximum yield increase exceeded the experimental error and was statistically significant.
