APPLICATION:

  1. Control. NPK Background
  2. NPK Background + Seed Treatment. Foliar application plan: 1st – at the budding phase, 2nd – 14 days after the first foliar application, product consumption – 1.5 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.
  3. NPK Background + Seed Treatment. Foliar application plan: 1st – at the budding phase, 2nd – 14 days after the first foliar application, product consumption – 2.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.
  4. NPK Background + Seed Treatment. Foliar application plan: 1st – at the budding phase, 2nd – 14 days after the first foliar application, product consumption – 3.0 kg/ha, working solution consumption – 300 l/ha.

Trial plots area – 100 m², observed plots area – 25 m². Trial repetitiveness — four times.  

RESULT:

  1. Yield increase from control with NPK background ranged from 10.4% to 21.38%.
  2. The yield increase resulted from improvements in yield structure indicators: the average number of large tubers increased by 53.3-86.7%, and of medium tubers numbers increased by 22.7-36.4%. The average weight of large tubers increased by 22.3-41.9%, and of medium tubers weight increased by 9.6-29.5%.
  3. The treatment increased the large tubers rate.
  4. Quality indicators improved: the ascorbic acid content increased by 0.9-1.6%, starch content increased by 0.6-1.0% (in absolute values). The nitrate content decreased by 2.8-8.5%.
  5. The maximum result was achieved with a double application at a 3.0 kg/ha dose.
  6. All yield increases exceeded the experimental error and were statistically significant.
